Steve Zweber
Vice President, Global Print Manufacturing & Distribution
Steve is responsible for Thomson Reuters Global Print manufacturing and distribution operations in North and South America, and he leads the Core Publishing Solutions commercial book printing and fulfillment business. Steve earned his MBA from Augsburg University, and has over 23 years of leadership experience with Core Publishing Solutions. Steve currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Books for Africa non-profit organization.
Tim Hughes
Director of Manufacturing Client Services & Business Development
Tim graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Stout with a BS degree in Industrial Technology with a concentration in Graphic Arts Management. Tim has over 30 years experience in the print industry, holding leadership positions in Prepress, Press and Bindery Operations. His current responsibilities include leading all aspects of production planning, capacity planning, daily scheduling, account management, customer service, and quality control.
Barbara Lindsey
Director of Human Resources
Barbara has a BS in Information Management from St. Catherine University. Through 18 years of experience at Core Publishing Solutions, Barbara has learned what it takes to have a great organization. She understands the complexities of the business and enjoys being a part of the printing industry. Barbara focuses on taking care of the business today, while also preparing for tomorrow. Some of her responsibilities include developing talent, consulting on organizational structure, managing performance, recruiting, and strategic planning.
Larry Soler
Director of Operational Excellence & LatAm Operations
Larry graduated from Metro State University with a BA degree in Management, is Certified from University of Wisconsin in their Operations Management program, and also has extensive training in APIC’s and lean leadership. Larry’s 35+ years in print has given him experience in many facets of the Print Industry, holding leadership positions in CPS for over 24-years in Quality, Production Planning, Engineering, Prepress, Press and Bindery Operations. His current responsibilities include leading all aspects of Safety, Continuous Improvement, Capital Projects, Business Systems and Training for our plants in Eagan & Buenos Aires, including responsibility for operations in Latin America. Larry has participated in multiple panel discussions at a variety of print conferences that discuss the impact of Inkjet technology to book production.
Brandon Nowak
Director of Print & Engineering
Brandon has an MBA from Augsburg University and a B.S. in Operations Management from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. Brandon has 15+ years of print experience with CPS, starting first as an Operations Management Trainee, then progressing through a number of Leadership positions in CPS such as Quality, Procurement, Capacity Management, Value Stream Operations, Prepress, Press and Bindery Operations. Brandon is also a member of the Book Manufacturers Institute (BMI) and has participated in a number of panel discussions at a variety of print conferences.
Mike Slagstad
Director of Bindery & Distribution Services
Mike has an MBA from Augsburg University and a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a concentration in Supply Chain Management. Mike has 18 years of leadership experience in operations at multiple fortune 500 companies and has had leadership roles across all production areas of Core Publishing Solutions over the past nine years. Mike has participated in panel discussions at a variety of conferences.
David Pease
Manager, Manufacturing Client Services
Dave has 27 years of book manufacturing experience and has filled various leadership roles specializing in Customer Service, Account Management, Book Production and Scheduling. Dave is responsible for developing and fostering relationships with customers. He manages a team focused on customer service and account management to enhance customer satisfaction.
Vickie Jensen
Commercial Print Business Development Manager
Vickie graduated from North Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education. She has over 40 years experience in the Printing, Publishing and Technology industry, ranging from newspaper, commercial print, print vendor to project manager, systems integration and “.com” development. Her current responsibilities are to establish strong partnerships with new customers, walking them through the on-boarding of CPS processes and providing production education, as well as keeping customers abreast of the many equipment and service enhancements and their benefits. Vickie also manages the Estimation Team.
